This is a wonderful period to work in because of the rich palette of materials and design elements associated with it.
The themes stress simplicity, but in execution the tile, stone, and natural woods give it an exotic look.
One project here is a wonderful house overlooking the Hudson River. The goal here was to bring the house up to today’s living standards, and tie the various additions into a unified whole.
Other photos are of a kitchen installed in a 1930’s Colonial Revival/English Cottage stone house near Albany, again being true to style, but designed for today’s usage.
